Again, I'd like to tell you something about Hōzuki market in Japan.
Hōzuki is a plant but I am not sure what people call in English.
According to Wikipedia, it is called as "Physalis alkekengi, Bladder-cherry, Chinese Lantern, Japanese-lantern or Winter cherry".
I hope that you will understand Hōzuki.
The news says that Hōzuki market had opened in Sensou-ji(one of famous temples) and Geishas encourage people to buy the plant of Hōzuki.
This is a kind of Japanese habit or a sort of traditional festival. However the origin is that people went to temple to take a good fortune in the day of Hōzuki market and people used to buy Hōzuki as a Amulet.
For me, Hōzuki market means just Japanese summer.
But I like the atmosphere of summer festivals in temples because of interesting very mush.
