Jack the Ripper

At last, the letter from Jack the Ripper is shown to people in Museum in Docklands in London.
This case is the most infamous crime, so even I who is Japanese, have known it.

I think that the Jack was well educated person so that his hand writing is beautiful and sophisticated.
Due to his intelligent, nobody could capture him.
He was completely different from other murders.
Firstly he had strong purpose to change society to better and secondly his action was motivated by some kind of morality.
Finally, he always lest varied messages, for example he sent letters and he took some organs from bodies.

We have never known who was Jack yet.
Did jack live in the East End ?

Pride & Prejudice

I watched at a DVD film, this was Pride & Prejudice.
I like a story in 19th century of Victorian era because I am stimulated by clothing and costumes. Also I am particularly interested in people’s manner and behave in the society.

One of my favourite parts is the beginning of the film; it begins romantic melody holding something sad. The seam is followed by a beautiful country house; there are dogs, cows and a dog.

Another is the Bennet family. I enjoy a comical conversation between Mrs Bennet and her five girls.

This is one of Jane Austin’s successful stories. Jane Austin wrote not only it but also Emma, sense and sensibility etc. I think she was a very attractive lady because of her ability. It is clear that her stories are full of character and entertainment.

Detective Stories

I like reading books especially Detective books.

Of course, I already read many stories which are written by Arthur Conan Doyle.
One of my favourite stories is [The Sign of the Four].
I like when Sherlock Holmes studies some evidence for example food prints by using his magnifying glass.
As long as I remember, Watson married a beautiful woman who was a client of the case.

After reading most of his detective stories, I am desperate of another detective books.
Then I find another private detective at last.
This is L.A detective, Lenny Samuel.
The man in the story is not similar to Sherlock Holmes.
Firstly, he does not have a company like Watoson because he has no money.
Secondly, he often failed to do something, sometimes he is unconsciousness after being attacked,
Finally, he works in Los Angeles not London.

The author is Philip Prowse whom I am not familiar yet when it compares to Arthur Conan Doyle.
However I begin to be keen on him recently because his stories is exciting and interesting.

Mark of Zorro

I like reading books, you know.
Today I read "The Mark of Zorro".
It is really nice and cool.
Have you ever read that?
I strongly recommend the book to every one.

The book was written by Johnston McCulley.
Original title of the book is the Curse of Capistrano.

What I like are two characters, one is Don Diego Vega and another is Señor Zorro.

Also do you remember a 2001 French film "Amélie".
She dressed costume as same as Zorro.
It is very cute, isn't it?

Charles Dickens

I like to read English literature, for example books written by Charles Dickens.
what I like concerning to his work are 'A Tale of Two Cities', 'Oliver Twist' and 'Great Expectations'.
Today I watched the film of 'Great Expectations(1946)'.
Of course, I really enjoyed it but it was difficult for me to understand conmpetly because there were no sub title there.

Anyway,
I like to know about victrian era, especially 1800s in Britan.
Because there are avrithing for instance varied society, people, happy and suffuring.

Apert from that, I know he was a frient of Mrs Gaskell.
So I think he perhapus came to Gaskell House, in another ward 84 Plymouth Grove.
